Product Update: Shift Platform v4.34.0 Release Notes

Release Notes

Shift Platform v4.34.0 is now live. This is one of the most substantial releases to date, led by a major expansion of Earn and Vaults through the new Yield Adapter Framework and a fully redesigned deposit and withdrawal experience on the Web Exchange. The release also adds stronger Back Office controls, expands trading and charting flexibility, improves mobile usability, and strengthens platform stability across integrations, search performance, and error handling.

Key Updates and Changes

Version 4.34.0 introduces improvements across six areas of the platform: Earn and Vaults, Web Exchange, Back Office, Mobile App, platform integrations, and platform stability. The release reflects continued investment in operational control, user experience, and the infrastructure operators need to manage and grow their platforms with confidence.

Earn and Vaults Major Infrastructure Expansion

Earn receives its largest upgrade to date. The Yield Adapter Framework gives operators a structured way to connect Earn vaults to supported external yield providers, with full management available directly from Back Office. Alongside this, Earn history is now more accurate, mobile Earn visibility is improved, and vault setup protections are stronger.

  • Yield Adapter Framework for connecting vaults to external yield providers, with Back Office controls for adapter setup, credentials, and sync behavior
  • Vault Strategies management for linking vaults to Yield Adapters and configuring APY sync, funding sync, yield margin, external vault ID, and failure handling
  • Yield Transactions page with filters, details view, CSV export, and error visibility for yield-related activity
  • APY history stored on historical vault records so past Earn transactions always reflect the APY active at the time
  • Vault Transaction Requests now distinguish deposits and withdrawals clearly, with improved filters and approval and rejection wording
  • Mobile Earn updates, including locked funds visibility on withdrawal screens and a cleaner Vault History currency selector
  • Vault Lock Strategy is now read-only when editing an existing vault to prevent invalid updates after setup

Redesigned Deposit and Withdrawal Flows

The deposit and withdrawal experience on the Web Exchange has been fully redesigned. Users now move through a dedicated transfer selector into focused Deposit or Withdrawal flows, with clearer currency and network selection, better fee visibility, improved address handling, and more consistent validation across crypto and fiat methods.

  • Clear separation between Deposit and Withdrawal paths and between crypto and fiat flows
  • Improved currency and network selection across both flows
  • Better deposit address presentation with QR code support where available
  • Address book integration in the withdrawal flow
  • Clearer fee, bank detail, and transfer limit visibility
  • More consistent validation and error messaging across transfer types
  • BCH deposit addresses are now generated in a format accepted by more external exchanges

Stronger Back Office Tools for Admin Operations

Back Office gains a meaningful set of new capabilities for operators running managed or invite-only onboarding, supporting high-touch client accounts, or requiring tighter control over manual admin actions. Reporting, audit trails, and permission controls are also significantly improved.

  • Create User directly from Back Office, with support for temporary passwords, manual passwords, or record creation without login credentials
  • Generate Crypto Deposit Address on behalf of users, including an option to request a new address when one already exists
  • Approval workflows for manual account transactions and transfer tickets, adding more control over sensitive admin actions
  • Aggregated Spot free balances, notional transaction values, and improved CSV exports for stronger reporting and balance review
  • Split deposit and withdrawal auto-reject settings in Payment Limits for more flexible operational control
  • Daily report timezone configuration and webhook auto-disable email notifications for better operational oversight
  • Improved user deletion logging, transaction detail modals, error screens, and permissions around sensitive system settings

Web Exchange Trading and Charting Improvements

Active traders gain more control over how they place orders and manage their chart environment on the Web Exchange.

  • Spot base and quote quantity selection for Market orders and FOK and IOC Limit orders
  • TradingView chart layout saving and cloud sync across Spot and Derivatives, with up to 10 layouts per trading type
  • Completed Spot trades now appear in Account Activity alongside deposits, withdrawals, conversions, and vault activity
  • More consistent handling of disabled currencies and limit group restrictions across trading, wallets, vaults, deposits, and withdrawals
  • Referral flow improvements, including clearer link sharing and better messaging for deleted or deactivated referral accounts
  • Deactivated account login messaging updated to show a clearer, user-friendly explanation
  • News section removed from Web Exchange and Mobile dashboards to eliminate instability from the third-party feed

Mobile App Unified History and Stability

The Mobile App receives a focused set of improvements that make account activity easier to review while improving stability, compatibility, and usability across multiple areas.

  • Unified asset transaction history on the Currency Details screen, combining deposits, withdrawals, trades, conversions, payments, and Earn activity
  • Backend-controlled minimum app version enforcement to block outdated versions and prompt updates
  • Conversion minimum amount validation with clearer feedback before a quote is requested
  • Mobile search date range limits aligned with Web and Back Office behavior
  • Derivatives leverage slider improved with haptic feedback and a real-time value tooltip
  • Right-to-left layout improvements and better toast notification rendering
  • Multiple stability and layout fixes across Vaults, Derivatives, Settings, and Notifications

Platform Integrations and Stability

Several integration and platform-level improvements strengthen how the Shift Platform handles payment flows, webhook monitoring, authentication, and high-volume search performance.

  • NomuPay Copy&Pay integration for hosted fiat payment flows with automatic user matching and wallet crediting
  • Improved MFA support for white-label clients using their own frontend and Cognito pool
  • KYC payload from SumSub now includes user document number for clients that need it downstream
  • Wallet assignment records now include source type and timestamp metadata for stronger audit support
  • Search date range limits and search performance optimizations applied across high-volume entities
  • Portfolio history retrieval updated for more consistent loading
  • Fireblocks gasless sweep support added for supported chains using a configured sponsor vault

Impact of These Updates for Operators

Version 4.34.0 is a platform-wide release that strengthens infrastructure depth, operational tooling, and user experience across every major surface of the Shift Platform.

The Yield Adapter Framework is a major step forward for operators building Earn products. The ability to connect vaults to external yield providers, manage strategies in Back Office, and monitor yield transactions in one place gives operators a more structured and auditable way to scale Earn.

The redesigned Web Exchange transfer flows improve one of the most friction-prone parts of the client experience. Clearer crypto and fiat deposit and withdrawal paths reduce user confusion, support load, and drop-off at a critical point in the journey.

For operations teams, the Back Office updates directly support managed onboarding, high-touch client accounts, and tighter control over sensitive admin actions. Improved reporting, clearer audit logs, and stronger export functionality make daily operations, compliance review, and support workflows faster and more reliable.

Active traders benefit from more flexible order entry and persistent TradingView layouts. Mobile users get a clearer view of account activity and a more stable app experience. Across integrations, search, and error handling, v4.34.0 makes the platform more resilient and easier to operate at scale.
